We are surrounded by social networks, wikis, question platforms (like yahoo answers or Quora), and many other tools that make participation to conversations both an easy and and enjoyable experience.
However I sometimes feel I’m not well motivated to make in-depth textual comments because they just pass by and end up in the jungle of crowd-generated content which is stored for a limited amount of time!
But what if we could extract our comments and titles to which our comments are referred to and post them on blogging platforms like WordPress?
In other words this is an idea for a new web application: a potential revolutionary cross-platform plugin that exports on your blog the content you post in response to an object (like status update, video, photo or note) posted on Facebook, or a Twitter conversation.
Facebook API allows you to export comments. This is a good starting point isn’t it?
If you feel like it’s time to do it let me know
Or will distributed social networking projects like Diaspora which claims to be “The privacy aware, personally controlled” give any help in this direction ? If yes, then I think I will “join” it on Sept. 15th.
